Leaders of Colorado’s Hispanic business communityy and local officials gathered at the Colorado Conventiomn Center Tuesday to formally announcew theconvention — the third time the city has been host to the nationalk Hispanic chamber. The gathering will be at the ColoradoiConvention Center, Sept. 16-19. Previous conventions were held in Denvetr in 1995and 1997. is a prime sponsoe of the convention with a commitment of Jerry Natividad, co-chair of the event’s host committed and a board member of the said the convention will focus on four key sustainable growth and the greening of the U.S.

This year’s national conventiohn will provide suchan opportunity.
” Denvetr Mayor John Hickenlooper said the conventiomn is a chance to highlight Denver’s successes before one of the fastest-growing business sectors in the U.S. “Thw timing couldn’t be more perfect,” Hickenloopee said, noting the city’ s planned Biennial of the Americas celebration next which includesa two-month-long curatexd event of contemporary art and ideasw from throughout the Americas. Hickenlooperr is meeting with diplomats from South and Centrao America this week in Washingtonn this week to promote the2010 event.
