; Richarx Greiwe, principal, Greiwe Development Shane Wright, vice president and chief financial officer, GE Aviation; and Karehn McShea, managing director, Americaa & Caribbean, Colliers International. The Port Authority’s powers were expanded in August 2008 to include the abilityg to levya one-mill tax subjecgt to voters’ approval, the ability to own property and the powefr of eminent domain, subject to approval by the city and county. “Thd new structure will allow the Port to be a much more aggressive tool in our efforts to expand our local economty andcreate jobs,” Mallory said in a news release.
The city and countyu are expected to vote on the slate during theird meetingJune 17, according to the release.

The initiative is designed to help more particularly low-income or students of color, earn certificates, degreesa or transfers to four-yearf colleges.
Northwest Vista Colleged opened in 1995 with12 students. Today, more than 10,000 students are enrolled in the school.

DiNome sent out a 10-page statement of candidacy to all Reed Smith partnerds in which he questionefdthe firm’s business the compensation and transparency of senior management, and calledc for a more independent executived committee. The memo was obtained by the Business Journal. DiNome and Jordan had said they agreed to not speakj publicly about the contested race to leadthe 1,600-lawyer which has 150 lawyers in Philadelphia.
